A taste of true hospitality
Staying at Mud Mirror Guesthouse was memorable, thanks to the warm hospitality of Lala and Surya, who made us feel right at home. The location within the fort offered stunning views, especially from the rooftop café, where we savored delightful meals and refreshing teas. The staff was genuinely excited to share stories about Jaisalmer's history, making our experience unique.
The shower pressure was somewhat inadequate, forcing us to use a bucket to bathe. A bit of dust accumulated in the room , though it was clean otherwise.

The rooftop restaurant offers an amazing view into the Thar desert, providing a unique dining experience that sets this place apart. Rooms are nicely decorated and the overall aesthetics capture the essence of the fort atmosphere perfectly.
The bathroom setup can be quite awkward, especially in the Budget Double Room, where you have to exit to a terrace to access it, and the space itself is cramped with nowhere to store toiletries. the sheets had some yellow stains and the myriad of switches in the room could use better labeling to avoid confusion. not knowing to request hot water for showers in advance led to a few chilly surprises.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the cozy room with a comfy mattress and the hot water always available. The garden area was perfect for relaxing, with hammocks to lounge in and a lovely spot for morning coffee. The only little downside was some minor wear on the sheets, but it didn’t take away from the great experience overall. 😊

Had an amazing stay with my group of friends! The views from our room were breathtaking, and the rooftop restaurant served delicious meals. Lala and Surya were super helpful, sharing cool insights about local sites like Jain temples and the fort. Definitely a fantastic spot to explore the area.
While most things were great, the room could've had better amenities, specifically the bathroom setup, which was a bit odd.

mud mirror guesthouse was amazin! the king room with balcony was huge and had stunning views from both sides. loved how comfy the bed was and there was always hot water available, which is a plus. staff were super friendly and really helped us plan our desert trip, felt like home. will def come back again!
the only downside was some noise from the street at night and the private bathroom setup was a bit strange.

Spending three nights here was enjoyable, especially with the consistently delicious Tuscan bread and generous portions offered at every meal. The hospitality of the staff added a welcoming touch, making each visitor feel special. the shower pressure was disappointing, as it required using a bucket instead, and there was noticeable dust in the room. accessing the private bathroom involved inconveniently going outside to the private patio.
